ABOUT
Sy Bedrick
Sy Bedrick, LCSW, (they/them, zie/zim, fae/faem) is a clinical social worker, educator and advocate, offering workshops and consultation on gender diversity, gender affirming makeup, safe gender affirming undergarment use, and Disability Justice and inclusion.

In autumn 2025, Sy will be offering therapy through their private practice under the supervision of Kira Keenan, LICSW, MEd. To join the waitlist, please reach out via email (sybedrick@gmail.com) to request a complementary intake session.

Perspective
All of Sy's work stems from an anti-racist, anti-ableist, trans affirming perspective. Their interest in Disability Rights Activism began before they became disabled, but zier experience as a disabled and neurodivergent individual has led them to dive deeper into advocacy work, and consider access and inclusion in every aspect of their work.

As a white person, Sy continues to educate themself on the legacy of white supremacy, and consistently implement structures and practices into their work to resist white supremacist and hegemonic culture.

Sy is a trans and nonbinary individual, who believes that everyone deserves the right to identify and express themselves however is right for them, and continues to fight for transgender equity, protection, and prosperity in their work, school, and beyond.
